The VA Palo Alto Polytrauma and Blind Rehabilitation Center is a new three story, 174,000 square foot polytrauma hospital and staff building where Unity has partnered with Walsh and SMITHGROUP Architects and Engineers. The new facility consists of a four-story parking garage, 200-kilowatt solar system, a chiller plant, an emergency generator plant, medium-volt site utility, structured cabling, telecommunications, nurse call, PA system with mass notification, fire alarm, security systems, audio-visual systems as well as all temporary power and lighting for the duration of construction.
